Abba Shaul
Abba Shaul
? · Tannaim
Abba Shaul was a rabbinic sage (Tanna) of the mid-2nd century CE, frequently quoted in the Mishnah, the foundational code of Jewish law. He is remembered for preserving variant traditions — alternative versions of legal (halachic) and narrative (aggadic) teachings recorded in the baraitot, sources outside that standard text.
