Amenemhat IV (throne-name Maakherure) was a late king of Dynasty 12 with a short reign, who continued the Sinai mining expeditions. After him the male royal line failed and the throne passed to his sister and wife, Sobekneferu, opening the dynastic crisis at the end of the dynasty.
