Huni

2637 BCE2613 BCE · Old-Kingdom

Huni was the last king of Dynasty 3, conventionally dated to around 2637-2613 BCE, and probably the father of Sneferu. He is traditionally associated with a series of small step pyramids and, in some reconstructions, with the pyramid at Meidum (an attribution shared with Sneferu). The transition to Dynasty 4 runs through his family.
