Neferirkare Kakai

Neferirkare Kakai was a king of Dynasty 5 whose mortuary complex at Abusir produced the Abusir Papyri, the most important administrative archive surviving from the Old Kingdom. These temple-economy documents are a major source for how royal funerary institutions were run.
