Sahure

Sahure was a king of Dynasty 5, conventionally dated to around 2487-2475 BCE, whose well-preserved pyramid complex at Abusir is decorated with reliefs of outstanding importance. They depict sea-going expeditions, including contact with the land of Punt and the Levant, and naval scenes, making them a key source for Old Kingdom trade, royal art, and foreign contact at its height.
