The 28 Iyar commemoration of the 1967 reunification of Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty. Religious Zionist practice: festive day with Hallel + special prayers; some include a seudat mitzvah. R. Tzvi Yehuda Kook treated it as miraculously messianic. Universally observed by Religious Zionist communities; not observed in most Charedi communities.
