Annisa, the family estate of the Cappadocian Fathers on the Iris River in Pontus, northern Turkey. There Macrina and her mother Emmelia founded an ascetic community; Gregory of Nyssa set his dialogue On the Soul and the Resurrection at Macrina's deathbed at Annisa.
