al-Mansuriyya
Al-Mansuriyya (Sabra al-Mansuriyya), near Kairouan in modern Tunisia, was a palace-city founded around 948 by the Fatimid caliph al-Mansur and served as the Fatimid capital under him and al-Mu'izz until the dynasty moved to Cairo in 973; it then remained the Zirid seat until its destruction in the mid-11th century. The Ismaili jurist al-Qadi al-Nu'man (d. 974) served the Fatimid court there.
