Moradabad

Moradabad, in Uttar Pradesh, northern India, was a town of the Rohilkhand region founded in the 17th century. It lies in the North-Western Provinces region connected to the official and educational career of the modernist reformer Sayyid Ahmad Khan (d. 1898), who served as a colonial judicial officer in towns of this region.
