Weston Favell, Northampton
Weston Favell is a former village on the eastern side of Northampton, England, now absorbed into the town. It appears in the Domesday Book of 1086 and later took its second name from a medieval lord of the manor, John Fauvelle. The parish church of St Peter has a tower dating from the late twelfth century. The molecular biologist Francis Crick, co-discoverer of the structure of DNA, was born here on 8 June 1916 and grew up in what was then a small village near Northampton.
