Thobgyal (Lhari Gang), Tsang
Thobgyal, at Lhari Gang in the Tsang region of central Tibet, was the birthplace, in 1758, of Jamphel Gyatso, the Eighth Dalai Lama, during whose reign the Norbulingka summer palace was built in Lhasa.
