Kfar Hasidimכפר חסידים
Galilee, Israel
Kfar Hasidim, a moshav in the Zevulun Valley east of Haifa in northern Israel, was founded in the mid-1920s by chasidic immigrants of the Fourth Aliyah, who drained the area's malarial swamps to establish farms. The future Chief Rabbi of Israel, Shlomo Goren, grew up there.
