Al-Zahir li-I'zaz Din Allah (1005-1036) was the seventh Fatimid caliph, reigning from 1021 to 1036 after the disappearance of his father al-Hakim. His reign was troubled by severe famine and by Bedouin revolts in Syria and Palestine. He also authorized the rebuilding of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, which had been destroyed under his father. He was succeeded by his son al-Mustansir.
