Abdullah ibn Muhammad (844-912) was the seventh Umayyad Emir of Cordoba, ruling al-Andalus from 888 to 912. His reign coincided with a period of widespread regional rebellion in which Umayyad authority effectively contracted to the area around Cordoba. Despite these difficulties he preserved the dynasty through a turbulent era. He was succeeded by his grandson Abd al-Rahman III, who would restore the state's fortunes.
