Sankara Variyar (IAST: Śaṅkara Vāriyar; c. 1500 – c. 1560) was an astronomer-mathematician of the Kerala school of astronomy and mathematics. His family were employed as temple-assistants in the temple at Tṛkkuṭaveli near modern Ottapalam.
