Coanacochtzin
?–1525 CE · Texcoco
Coanacochtzin, a son of Nezahualpilli, ruled Texcoco during the Spanish siege and fall of Tenochtitlan. Unlike his brother Ixtlilxochitl, who allied with the Spanish, he supported the Mexica resistance. After the conquest he was taken on Cortés's expedition to Honduras and executed there alongside Cuauhtémoc in 1525, ending Texcoco's independent line.
