Osman II

Osman II, known as 'the Young,' became Ottoman ruler in 1618 at about fourteen years of age. He led a campaign against Poland that ended inconclusively at Chocim (Khotyn) in 1621, after which he sought to curb or reform the Janissary corps. His plans provoked a Janissary revolt, and in 1622 he was deposed and killed, one of the first Ottoman sultans to be murdered by his own soldiers.
