William Henry Harrison

William Henry Harrison was the 9th President, taking office in 1841 as a Whig. A former army general known for the 1811 Battle of Tippecanoe, he served only about one month before dying of illness, the shortest presidential term in U.S. history. His death first raised the question of presidential succession.
