Mordechai Willig

R. Mordechai Willig (b. 1947), rosh yeshiva of RIETS and senior rosh kollel of the Wexner Kollel Elyon, is among the most influential American Modern Orthodox posekim of his generation. A close talmid of R. Soloveitchik, he has served as rabbi of the Young Israel of Riverdale for over four decades alongside his RIETS shiur. His responsa on contemporary issues — internet, women's roles, conversion, modern medicine — are widely consulted in American Modern Orthodoxy.
