Qutbuddin Mubarak Shah

Qutb ud-Din Mubarak Shah, a son of Alauddin Khalji, was the last effective ruler of the Khalji dynasty. He came to power in 1316 amid the instability that followed his father's death. His reign ended in 1320 when he was murdered in a conspiracy led by his favored general Khusrau Khan, an event that soon gave way to the rise of the Tughlaq dynasty.
