R. Yerucham Fishel Perla (c. 1846–1934) was a prominent Achronim-era Torah scholar and ethical thinker, active primarily in Eastern Europe during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was known for his deep erudition in Talmud and halakha, as well as for his mussar (ethical) writings and teachings. Perla engaged seriously with the intellectual currents of his time while remaining committed to traditional Jewish learning and practice. His works on Jewish ethics and Talmudic interpretation circulated widely in yeshiva circles and among the broader Jewish scholarly community of his generation.
