Zechariah Mendel ben Aryeh Leib (died c. 1706) was a Polish Talmudist born in Krakow who served as rabbi in Turobin and, from around 1689, as chief rabbi and head of the yeshiva in Belz. He was an active member of the Council of Four Lands, the central body of Polish-Jewish self-government, signing its ordinances between 1688 and 1700. He is best known for the Be'er Heitev, a concise commentary on the Yoreh De'ah and Choshen Mishpat sections of the Shulchan Aruch that distills the rulings of earlier authorities such as the Shach and the Taz. His exact year of birth is unknown.
